TD type of airend family is designed for compressing in inflow border
as far as 40m3/min and max. pressure as far as 16 bar. Two specially designed rotary screws, asymmetrical profiles optimized
mathematical model with 5/6 gear tooth ratio rotating - perform air absorption
and continuous compression. Rotary motion without inertial forces make possible
high revolutions which cause from one side reducing dimensions and from the other
this rotary motion makes possible drive with high speed engines which are smaller
and lighter, too.
For the purpose of cooling oil is directly injected
into the compression area. Besides cooling the system, in the same time oil is
lubricating the system. Because of direct oil injection whole compression process
is almost isothermal in temperature scale from 80°C - 90°C. Oil circulation and
oil separation is processed in compressor.
Compression is made with large
numbers of precisely processed elements that achieve reliable operation and high
life-span
The TD type of screw compressors includes five basic sizes,
and numeric notation represent screw axial distance given in millimeters Airend
are manufactured in three deferent variations depending of application and conception
of screw compressors M - this design has integrally embedded toothed
multiplier, which is connecting male rotor and main engine R - this
design has belt connection between male rotor and main engine. D -
this design has directly connection of an engine with a male rotor.
The purpose of these variations is more economic use of main engines

M variation nmale rotor = nmot. x
i | Optimal range of flange speeds of male rotor
is 20 - 40 m/s and this range is given in "charts of characteristics" in PDF document,
so you can select airend with ease for mounting in compressor sets. Production
of screw sets in Trudbenik is based on mentioned airends. Universal dimensions
and connexion measurements make possible simple replacement for airend from other
